Rediscover mobility and comfort with Arthrosamid® at Red Rose Healthcare. Administered by our specialist orthopedic consultants, this innovative, one-step hydrogel injection integrates into the knee joint to deliver sustained pain relief and delay the need for major joint surgery.
Introducing Arthrosamid®
Arthrosamid® is an innovative, non-biodegradable injectable hydrogel (medically classified as 2.5% iPAAG) consisting of 97.5% water and 2.5% cross-linked polyacrylamide. As a safe, effective, and approved treatment for knee osteoarthritis, it stands as the first and only injectable implant of its kind.
By integrating into the joint tissue, Arthrosamid® directly targets chronic discomfort to diminish pain, reduce joint stiffness, and restore natural knee function, providing patients with a powerful, non-surgical path to a better quality of life.

Why Choose Arthrosamid® for Knee Pain?
Proven
Supported by more than two decades of research. Arthrosamid® is proven to be safe and effective offering you long-lasting pain relief for your knee osteoarthritis.
Long Lasting
Arthrosamid® is proven to maintain a significant, long-lasting reduction in knee osteoarthritis pain even five years post-treatment.
Without Surgery
Arthrosamid® is a simple, one-step procedure performed under local anaesthesia by a qualified physician without surgery.
How does Arthrosamid® (2.5% iPAAG) work?
* When Arthrosamid® is positioned within the tissue lining of the knee joint, it mechanically softens and increases the elasticity of this tissue – thereby improving knee functionality and reducing pain.
* It’s this unique characteristic that provides a significant reduction in your OA pain over a longer period with one single treatment.
